Give a simple set
a little more.

An acoustic night. A smaller team. A spontaneous time of worship. ClickPad gives your team a steady click, a pad in the right key, and a spoken cue for the next song.

01 / PREPARE

Start with your set list.

Load a Planning Center plan or build your own set list. The songs, keys, tempos, and time signatures stay together.

02 / PLAY

One button starts the song.

Press GO. The count-in begins, the song name is spoken over it, and the pad fades in to full volume on beat 1.

03 / CONNECT

Help your tools follow along.

Share song information with Companion and keep ProPresenter focused on the right song in your playlist.

Now testing · Mac, iPad & iPhone

Your whole set.
On every device.

One app, with every feature on Mac, iPad, and iPhone. The same click, pads, spoken song names, and connected tools. Nothing cut down for a smaller screen.

The plan: one purchase for all your devices.

In testing. Not on the App Store yet.

iPad

Lead from your iPad.

Plug in a USB-C audio interface. Run click, pads, and spoken song names on their own outputs, just like on a Mac.

iPhone

A remote in your pocket.

Control the main ClickPad on a Mac or iPad with extra-large GO, NEXT, Click, Pad, and Stop All buttons. Keep the set list in view when your phone is upright. Turn it sideways for just the big buttons and the song.

Made for touch, upright or sideways.

On an upright iPad or iPhone, the song sits at the top, your set list in the middle, and the controls at the bottom. Scroll the list and tap a song. Turn it sideways for a layout like the Mac.

Big buttons and a clear stage screen keep things easy to read. Settings and set lists open full screen, with a Done button to return.

Tempo, key, and time signature stay on one line, even at 172.5 BPM. A sideways iPhone shows the song title, key, and tempo extra large.

Planning Center, team sharing, ProPresenter control, Companion, MIDI, Simple Mode, and remotes work on iPad and iPhone too. ProPresenter and Companion themselves run on a computer on the same network.

New · Setup Assistant

Set up in minutes,
not hours.

ClickPad asks what your team uses, then walks you through only that, including the steps in Planning Center, ProPresenter, and Companion.

It opens the first time you launch ClickPad. One simple page at a time. Skip any page and come back later.

Already set up? Run the Setup Assistant again any time from the Help menu or Settings.
  1. Main or remote?

Main ClickPad plays the click, pads, and song names to your audio interface.

Remote shows the main ClickPad’s screen and controls it, at the keys, the drums, or in the booth. Pick the main ClickPad by name from the list on your network. No address to type.

  2. What does your team use?

Tick what applies. ClickPad only shows the pages you need.

Planning Center · ProPresenter · Stream Deck (Companion) · MIDI pedal or controller · Remote ClickPads

  3. A short page for each.

Follow the steps in ClickPad and the other app, with a quick check along the way.

See what each setup page covers

Choose your audio interface and where the click, pad, and song name go. Press Hear Click to check. Pads are built in, with nothing to download.
    Planning Center
Sign in with your own account and load this week’s plan. An optional one-time step lets you share song settings with the whole team.
    ProPresenter
Follow the steps to turn on ProPresenter’s network. The Test button turns green when connected. An optional switch shows the song, key, and tempo on stage screens. A separate, optional first-slide setting can put slide 1 on screen after the count-in.
    Stream Deck (Companion)
ClickPad shows its address and port, then the three steps in Companion: import the module, add the connection, and drag in the presets.
    MIDI
Connect your footswitch. Teach ClickPad Start/Stop and Next by pressing the buttons you want to use.
    Remote ClickPads
Name this ClickPad, like “Front of House,” so other devices can find it. See who’s connected.
  4. You’re ready.

A summary shows what’s set up with a green tick. No set list yet? Try the demo set list and press play: two bars of count-in, the song name spoken, and the pad fading in to full on beat 1.

Open ClickPad and it makes its own warm, evolving pads in every key, right on your device. Ready in under a minute the first time you open it.

Room for the song

A little movement.
Plenty of room.

Gentle swells, breathing brightness, an airy shimmer, and long, dark reverb. Texture that sits underneath the song without filling every space.

See the crossfade.

When the next pad comes in, the bar reads FADE and shows both pads. The old one drains on a dim line. The new one fills on a bright line.

How the pads fit your songs

Neutral pads use the root and fifth, so they fit major and minor keys alike. Major and Minor add just the third. The movement comes from the texture, with no busy chord changes.

Pads follow the set list and crossfade between songs. Each song can use a different pad pack.

Have a pad pack you love? Bring it along.

Choose its folder in ClickPad. WAV and MP3 packs import as they come, whether they use Major, Minor, and Neutral folders or a single folder of files named by key.

On iPad and iPhone, add packs from the Files app: on your device, iCloud Drive, or Google Drive. ClickPad copies the files in, so your set doesn’t depend on the internet.

With thanks to the pad makers: Aerospace Audio, makers of Atmosphere pads, and Churchfront, who offer a free pad pack. We love what they do for the church.

Planning Center Services

Sign in with your own account and choose a plan. Your songs arrive in order with key, tempo, and time signature. Your plan stays in sync, and song settings can be shared between leaders through Planning Center.

Setup guide
  1. In ClickPad, open Settings › Planning Center › Sign In and sign in with your own Planning Center account.
  2. Choose the service type and plan.
  3. Select Load Plan.

Keep your plan in sync. Planning Center stays the source of truth. Changes arrive automatically within two minutes, or straight away with Resync, without interrupting anything that’s playing. Each song’s ClickPad settings are kept.

Ready offline. Set lists are saved on your device and work offline.

Shared song settings. ClickPad keeps click, pad, announcement, “Also say,” and transition settings in a note on each song in the Planning Center plan, so every leader can load the same setup. Musicians don’t see those notes unless they choose to show the ClickPad column. No extra accounts needed.

Bitfocus Companion

Use Stream Deck buttons through the free Companion module for every control, live song info, song names and keys, and levels. Share key, scale, and tempo to help keep vocal tuning and tempo-based plugins in sync.

Setup guide

Available here while submission to the official Companion module list is planned. The new song-name and level features require a ClickPad build dated October 17, 2026 or later; older builds leave their values empty.

  1. Download the package.

Save clickpad-1.2.0.tgz using the download button, or find it under Assets on the release page. Keep the file compressed.

  2. Import it into Companion.

Open Modules → Import module package and select the .tgz file. Use the single-module import, rather than Import offline module bundle.

  3. Allow the connection in ClickPad.

In ClickPad, open Settings › Network and turn on Allow remotes and Companion. Note the address and port shown there.

  4. Add ClickPad as a connection.

In Companion, open Connections, search for ClickPad, and add it. Select the imported 1.2.0 version. Enter the address from ClickPad and its port, normally 9330. If Companion and the main ClickPad run on the same computer, use 127.0.0.1 for the address. If ClickPad runs on iPad or iPhone, Companion runs on a computer on the same network; use the ClickPad address shown in Settings. Save the connection.

  5. Check the status. Add your buttons.

The connection turns green when connected. Use the module’s presets for controls, song selection, and song information. If macOS asks whether ClickPad can accept incoming network connections, choose Allow.

New in v1.2.0. Song-selection presets show each song’s name and key. The new Levels presets let you adjust click, pad, and song-announcement levels from Companion.

Updating an existing connection? Import v1.2.0 and select it on your ClickPad connection. Drag the Select song presets onto your buttons again to replace the old numbered labels, and add the Levels presets where needed.

Need more detail? Read the ClickPad module setup guide or Companion’s module import instructions.

ProPresenter

Go straight to the right song in ProPresenter’s playlist, without flicking through the songs in between. Optionally, put slide 1 on screen on beat 1 after the count-in. It’s off by default.

Setup guide
  1. In ProPresenter, open Settings › Network, turn on Enable Network, and note the port.
  2. In ClickPad, open Settings › ProPresenter, turn on Select songs in ProPresenter, and enter the ProPresenter computer’s address and port.
  3. Select Test.

Use the same plan. ProPresenter needs the playlist imported from the same Planning Center plan. The default Match the plan’s date option finds the playlist by its date. ClickPad goes straight to the song, even if the operator has moved around the playlist.

Choose when each song follows. ClickPad selects the song in ProPresenter when you select it in ClickPad, or when you press GO, depending on that song’s setting. Selecting a song only moves ProPresenter’s focus. It doesn’t put a slide on screen unless you enable the separate first-slide option.

Optional: show slide 1 after the count-in. Turn this on to put the song’s first slide on screen on beat 1, as the band comes in. It’s off by default, and each song can have its own setting. Stop during the count-in and nothing goes on screen.

Optional stage-screen info. Show the current song, key, and tempo on ProPresenter’s stage screens. ClickPad never overwrites a message the operator sends.

If the playlist doesn’t match: ClickPad selects nothing and tells you about the mismatch.

The right sound, in the right place.Send click, pads, and song names to their own channels on your audio interface, each with its own level. Click and announcements stay out of the pad channels. ClickPad remembers your interface and reconnects if it’s unplugged.

Made for the people running the set

Easy to start.
Easy to stay with.

Keep your attention on the team. Clear controls, spoken cues, and a simple stage screen help you follow the set without managing a full tracks session.

A click the team can trust

A steady click that doesn’t drift, with a two-bar count-in and an accented beat 1. Turn the accent off per song when the meter changes.

6/8 and other eighth-note meters click correctly. Choose Classic, Woodblock, or Beep.

Optional soft tones on the click output confirm when you press play or stop. Helpful when you’re using a MIDI pedal.

Song cues, made ahead of time

A male or female voice says the song name over the count-in. Announcements are made and saved ahead of time, so there’s no live speech to depend on during a service.

Add an Also say note for the team, like “Forever YHWH: start with the bridge chords.”

A clear view of what’s happening

See the song, key, tempo, time signature, a beat display you can read from across the stage, a pad level bar, and what’s next. Tempo, key, and time signature stay on one line on smaller screens.

Between songs, hold the pad, fade to the next pad, crossfade and auto-start, or stop.

Use keyboard shortcuts, menu bar controls, or the optional menu bar icon. Keep everything you don’t need out of the way.

Keep your hands on your instrument

Map a MIDI button or footswitch to any control with Learn. Press the button or pedal to teach ClickPad what to use. On iPad and iPhone, pair a Bluetooth MIDI pedal right inside ClickPad. USB MIDI pedals work too.

Use Companion for Stream Deck controls, song buttons with real names and keys, and separate level buttons.

Another device. The same set.

Run a second ClickPad at the keys, by the drums, or in the booth as a remote of the main device. Find the main ClickPad by name on the network.

Remotes share the same controls, including per-song edits. The main ClickPad plays all the audio. On iPhone, the remote gives GO, NEXT, Click, Pad, and Stop All extra-large buttons.

Know where you stand. A small green “Remote of Stage iPad” label shows which ClickPad you’re connected to, using its name.

If the connection drops, ClickPad shows Not connected, names the ClickPad it lost, and offers a large Reconnect button. Controls dim so you know a press hasn’t gone through. It keeps trying and reconnects as soon as it can.

Take your set with you

Load from Planning Center or make your own set lists. Set lists are saved on your device and work offline.

On iPad and iPhone, export a set list to Files, then AirDrop or email it. Open a ClickPad set list file on any device to import it.

Keeps playing. Recovers by itself.

ClickPad keeps the screen awake while it’s in front. On iPad and iPhone, click and pads carry on if the screen locks or you switch apps. It runs inside Apple’s secure app sandbox.

After a phone call, Siri, or an alarm, the sound comes back on its own. Unplug and replug the audio interface and ClickPad reconnects.

Keep the stage screen simple and distraction-free, with just what you need while you’re leading.

Try your setup before Sunday

ClickPad is in testing. Run it through your own rehearsal before relying on it in a service. We recommend that for any new setup.
